Repairs are not expected to be completed until the beginning of the next school year. Temporary classroom space has been created in the high school portion of the building.
The Jay County building was damaged by an F-1 tornado which struck the building on Sunday, September 22nd. The Junior-Senior High School students were out of school all of last week while the cleanup continued and just returned for in person classes this past Monday.
