The Adams Central cross country teams tested themselves against some of the elite teams in northern Indiana Saturday, competing for the second week in a row at Taylor.
Tyler Schwartz (shown below) continued his excellent start to the season with the top finish for the boys and Adi Rumschlag cracked the Top 50 for the girls. Rumschlag’s effort was 80 seconds better than her previous career best.
The Jets also got a career best from Haley Jauregui, who trimmed 12 seconds from her previous pace.
Recording more career best for the Jets were Preston Hoffman, Trevor Chamberlain, Henry Michaels and Phillip Bayer.
Corbin Houk may have had the most impressive AC performance. He dropped his career mark from 24:08 in the season’s opening race down to 21:29.55.
