A long awaited road improvement project near South Adams High School is about to take a major step forward toward construction. The Adams County Commissioners Tuesday approved plans to move the project forward toward the bidding process.
The plans to improve County Road 700S at US 27 near the entrance to South Adams High School was first proposed in 2019, but has hit numerous roadblocks until now.
WZBD’s Ed Thurman spoke with County Highway Superintendent Brad Yoder about how the project is finally moving forward…
Yoder says he estimates the roadwork should cost about $2 million to complete, and will include new sidewalks in the area.
