All three varsity singles matches went to a third set Thursday as Adams Central outlasted South Adams for a 4-1 victory on the annual Pink Out night between the two teams.
Already enjoying a quick victory from a 6-0 win in the second set for the Jets’ No. 2 doubles squad (Adrienne Johnson and Emily Bertsch, the home team bounced back from losses in the opening set at No. 2 and No. 3 singles to win in three sets, with Demi Landis winning at No. 2 and Lila Ringger at No. 3.
Lanie Bryan and Kyleigh Habegger scored the only victory for the visitors, also in three sets.
