A year after winning an NE8 title and a sectional trophy, the Bellmont Braves had to cede local supremacy back to their rivals, the Norwell Knights, after a 3-2 match Thursday.
The Braves’ top doubles pair fought hard to make sure it was a respectable final score, forcing a deciding set after dropping the first 7-5. Averie Coats and Ella Ross turned things around and won thee last two sets comfortably.

Senior Lilyana Suarez had the other win for the Braves in straight sets.
