On a busy night at Cross Creek, the East Noble Knights took care of the Bellmont Braves and pushed their final record in the NE8 to 6-1 with a solid 178 as the hosts were forced to play without one of their varsity seniors.
Playing without Morgan Huss, the Braves were still able to break 200 and show some progress on their home course.
Sydnee Hillier was the medalist with a +6 round of 42 for East Noble, while Kinley Martin led the Braves with a 47.
East Noble got off to a great start, playing No. 10 and No. 11 twelve strokes better than the Braves to start the night in varsity play. Hillier made a birdie on No. 10 and the Knights had three pars on each of those two opening holes.
The loss dropped the Braves to 2-5 for a sixth-place finish in the conference.
Ava Billman (48) (shown above) and Mia Minnick (49) both had season best on the back for the Braves.
