The Bellmont Braves will head into Thursday’s showdown with the talented Northrop Bruins on a high after beating Huntington North Tuesday, 3-1.
Three different goal scorers gave coach Lee and coach Skaggs the start they needed on the turf in Huntington.
Ashley Bleke opened the scoring with a goal on a corner in the tenth minute, her third of the season.
In the 35th minute, Oni Krueckeberg notched her team-high ninth goal of the season to make it 2-0.

The Braves conceded just their second conference goal of the season at 50′, but Madyson Snyder had the last laugh, scoring in the 79th minute to seal the game.

The Bellmont JV team won their game, 1-0, on a goal by freshman striker Fiona Schwartz.
