Isaac Baker’s backdoor pass to Cameron Summers with 40 seconds left in overtime gave the Bellmont Braves a 49-47 lead and Beau Baker grabbed the biggest rebound of the game and nailed two free throws to seal a 51-47 win over the Bluffton Tigers Friday night.

Summers led the Braves with 20 points and Daniel Selking added 18 for the home team. Summers had just three points at halftime, but dominated in the second half in what was always a back-and-forth game.

Bellmont led 19-17 at halftime, but Bluffton never went away. Maxwell White’s three with a minute left in regulation gave Bluffton a 44-42 lead. Daniel Selking missed a long three and Bellmont was forced to foul to stay in the game. White, however, missed two free throws to give Bellmont a chance to tie it or win.
A time out by Peyton Selking with 16.7 seconds left set up the Braves to accept a free foul from Bluffton. The Braves then looked for Selking on the shot to win it, but his miss was rebounded by Summers, who was fouled with less than two seconds left. Summers calmly knocked down both shots to set up overtime.

The win pushed Bellmont’s record to 7-14, while Bluffton dropped to 15-6.
