Rex Brewer of the Z Team sums up Heritage’s loss against Columbia City in the semifinal of the IHSAA volleyball sectional Saturday morning.
Heritage won the opening set of their semifinal Saturday morning (27-25), but the Columbia City Eagles fought back to win three straight sets and advance to the final. They took the final three sets 25-16, 25-19, 25-12.
It was redemption for the Eagles, who had fallen to Heritage back before Spring Break by a 3-1 score.
