South Adams fell in the championship game of their home Invite Saturday, beating Blackhawk Christian 4-3 in the morning game, but losing to Frankton 11-1.
A bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh resulted in an unusual walk-off against the Braves. Owen Wanner scored the winning run and collected two hits, including a lead-off single to start the seventh. He also started on the mound, going the distance and allowing just four hits, while striking out six.

Derek Weaver drew the winning walk and had a double.
In the championship against Frankton, the home team was held to just two hits in a five-inning, 11-1 loss. Wyatt Smith struck out six and allowed just one unearned run to win the Eagles the title.
Kane Sturwold pitched well in relief for the Stars, allowing just one run in two innings of work.
Hunter Fields and Luke Bauman had the only hits for the Starfires.
The Starfires host Norwell on Monday night.
