Noah Redmon raised his batting average on the season to .440 with a 4 for 5 night Friday as the Heritage Patriots beat Concordia 10-4 on the road in non-conference play.
Redmon had three singles and a double, driving in three runs and scoring twice himself while playing first base. He had the key hit in a three-run rally in the top of the first as the Patriots jumped out to a lead against the Cadets, giving Landon Lybarger good run support for his start on the mound.
Lybarger worked around six walks to allow just one run in five innings of work, earning the victory while also striking out five batters.
Caleb Abbott pitched two innings in relief and withstood a Cadet rally in the final inning to finish off the game.
Cam Rauner, Lybarger and Thomson Keppel each had two hits for Heritage.
The Patriots are now 9-2 on the season.
