Running in an all-day event that included 100s of boys teams and another 100 girls teams, the Southern Wells Raiders headed back home with a second-place finish to a very good Lakewood Park Christian team after edging out rivals Monroe Central and Adams Central for the race’s biggest consolation prize.
The Raiders were led by Joshua Bricker, who finished in sixth in 17:19. The senior was the fastest of the ACAC contingent in the event.
Ethan Crockett was the top finisher for the Adams Central Flying Jets, taking 14th place in 18:09.
