Facing a team that had not won in their last six games, the Bellmont Braves dropped a 1-0 NE8 game to East Noble Wednesday at home, mustering just three shots on goal across the 80 minutes.
Goalie Xavior Palacios made six of seven saves, but the Braves did not score and fell to 1-5 in the conference with a game at DeKalb the only fixture left on the schedule before sectional. That match will be played Monday.
