Adams Central smashed the home Squires Tuesday night, scoring 16 runs in the first nine outs and winning the game in five innings, 18-3.
The RBI-machine, Melina Peralez, had two runs knocked in with a double in her two plate appearances, while Brianna Cook had a day at the bottom of the lineup with a 3 for 4 effort and five knocked in.
Addie Baker threw the first three innings and allowed just two hits while striking out five. She was pulled with the blowout underway and Maddie Hill took mop-up duties, getting the final six outs. Hill was hit for three runs and she walked two.
The Jets play Norwell Wednesday night on the road.
