Playing the front nine on their home course, the Heritage Patriots turned in their best team round of the season, but it was not enough to secure a victory in the ACAC against Adams Central as the Jets won by four strokes Thursday night in high school golf.
Heritage’s Alexis Bremer shot her best round of the season on the front nine at McMillen, finishing with a medalist round of 46, nine shots better than her previous best nine holes there.
The Jets got 49s from Londyn Smith and Lily Hurst to edge the Patriots on the par 33 course. Hurst broke 50 for the first time this year to give AC that winning edge.
