Mia Minnick had a career night, breaking 50 for the first time as a Bellmont Brave and leading the team of five senior Braves to a victory in Huntington Tuesday night.
The NE8 victory against four-man Huntington North was by eight strokes on the Front Nine at Maple Grove. Minnick only led her teammates by three strokes, with the visiting Braves and coach Macke tossing out a score of 52.
The win elevates the Bellmont season record in head-to-head weeknight matches to 2-3 and 1-2 in the NE8.
