The Adams Central pitching staff issued ten walks in an 8-2 loss to Bishop Luers Monday night in Monroe.
The contest had extra significance after last week’s IHSAA draw pitted the two teams against each other in the opening round of the South Adams 2A Sectional. That game will be broadcast live by WZBD.

The Jets actually outhit the Knights, 6-5 in the contest, but it was the ten free passes by four different Jet pitchers that cost them the game.
The Jets score their first run of the game and take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third. Adams Central gets one back in the bottom of the sixth.
