Facing the absence of a couple of key figures in the varsity lineup, Bellmont head coach relied on his team’s depth to deliver a win against sectional rival Bluffton Monday night, winning 4-1.
The Tigers and Braves could very well face each other again in one week at the Norwell sectional and the Braves should be confident if such a matchup does happen and they have their top lineup available.
Jumping into the varsity lineup for the first time was the doubles team of Lucie McInire and Alyssa Coffey. They won in straight sets in their debut.

The Braves will attempt to avoid the forecast of storms for Tuesday and host New Haven. Bellmont still have matches against the Bulldogs and then DeKalb on Thursday to complete the NE8 circuit before the sectional.
