A wild week of missed school, flooding and a hectic schedule certainly did no good for the Adams Central volleyball team last week.
Bouncing back from a disappointing loss to ACAC-leading Heritage two weeks ago, the Jets had scored two straight wins when Leo walked through the doors Monday at the start of the new week. The Lions fought back from dropping the opening set to take the next three and hand the Jets just their fourth loss of the season, 21-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.
Jentrie Schaefer led the way for the Jets with a team-high ten kills and added a couple of blocks.
Emma Hirschy had a team-high 16 digs, while Claira Foreman had seven kills.
The Jets are back in action Tuesday night at home against Bluffton.
