The battle for a team victory was already over Monday night, but that did not stop Cruz Ripple and Grant Geels from battling all the way through the end of a 7-5 third set for Adams Central as they took a 3-1 advantage against Snider and turned it into a 4-1 final.
Ripple and Geels took the opening set, as did all the other varsity courts for the home team, with a 7-5 margin, but they dropped the second set, 6-4.
That pushed the No. 2 doubles team for the Jets to the third set, where they finally finished off Max Evans and Dylan Migel of the Panthers.
Freshman Liam Ripley played an extremely close match and won 7-5 in the opening set, then won the match in a second-set tiebreaker, 7-5.
Zack Frank was dominant on the other end of the courts, winning convincingly, 6-1, 6-0 over Charles King for another win at No. 1 singles.
The Jets are back in ACAC action Tuesday against Jay County.
