There was no quitting in the Bellmont Braves Monday night.
Playing in the biggest soccer-specific stadium in the state, the Braves faced a mighty task of following the girls’ win by playing #5 Leo in a matchup that has been all Lions in recent years.
Despite being overmatched, and with a very winnable game in the back of their minds the following day, the Braves conceded two goals in each half for a very respectable 4-0 scoreline.
Grayson Riehm made nine saves in the game.
