It was a clean 5-0 sweep for the Carroll Chargers Thursday night at Adams Central in boys’ varsity tennis as the Jets got the opportunity to take the court against one of the big boys in northeast Indiana.
Adams Central’s young team faced a lineup that featured seven 12th graders from Carroll.
“Our young team performed admirably against a tough Carroll team with much more experience and a proven track record,” noted head coach Brent Doster.
Despite the lopsided loss, coach Doster feels Thursday’s match will have motivated his young team.
“I am excited about the future of Adams Central tennis as we prepare for the final push heading into sectional.”
The Jets will host Snider on Monday.
