A round of 41 was as good as Tenley Hendricks has played in her career and it was exactly what the Adams Central Jets needed to beat Southern Wells by a whopping 30 strokes at Wabash Valley Thursday night.
Hendricks used a birdie on No. 7 to offset her only double bogey for a +5 round to lead the Jets.
Adams Central also got a birdie from Adrienne Johnson on the short No. 9 on the water – the first of her career. Lily Johnson followed that up with a birdie on the same hole.
Southern Wells got solid play from Sophie Meeks as she shot a 48.
