Adams Central scored a 4-1 win against long-time rival Norwell Thursday on the Jets’ home courts, with the No. 2 doubles team showing some heart and determination on the way.
With just six players, Norwell was forced to forfeit at No. 3 singles. The Knights’ only win came at No. 1 doubles, where Ryan Heyerly and Brady Watkins avoided the shutout.
Zack Frank was especially lethal for the home team, dropping just one game in his straight-set win in the top singles match.

Cruz Ripple and Grant Geels dropped their opening set, but came back to take the second (6-3). They ended the night with a 10-8 win in the third-set tiebreak.
The Jets will play at Concordia on Wednesday.
