This fall’s wet weather has wreaked havoc on the local tennis schedule and that was on perfect display Wednesday as the Bluffton Tigers had to make their way back over to Decatur to resume a match that they were already dominating against the Bellmont Braves.
When the night was settled, the Tigers were back on the bus and headed home with five victories, all in straight sets.
Sophomore Caleb Coats was the last of the Braves to bow out in the match, but he could not break serve at 5-4 in the second set and the match ended with the Tigers taking it, 5-0.
The Braves are back in action against other Braves (the Blackhawk Christian variety) Thursday at Kreager Park.
