It was a win and a loss for the Bellmont Braves on the Majorki nine at Cross Creek on Monday, with coach Mike Macke’s team registering a victory over Canterbury, but a loss against Concordia, shooting 185 on the night with senior Ava Billman leading the way.
Nevaly Roehm of Concordia Lutheran was the medalist with a 38.
Billman shot 44 for the Braves with a par up the hill on No. 6 and another on the short No. 7. She played the final four holes at +2 on the par 33 course. It’s the lowest round Billman has posted as a Bellmont Brave.

The rest of the Bellmont team played very similar rounds, with all four within a stroke of each other. Kinley Martin also had a par on No. 6 and Lyla Post recorded a par on No. 7 (along with Billman). Mia Minnick took a three on No. 8.

Morgan Huss rounded out her night with pars on Nos. 7, 8 and 9.
