Having already thrown a perfect game this week, Derek Weaver added to another Starfire victory as the calendar flipped to May with a perfect night at the plate, driving home four runs (including a two-run homer to get the scoring started) in a 10-0 victory for South Adams over Lakewood Park Christian Friday.

Back at first base after his five-inning perfect game Thursday against Southwood, Weaver drove in two more runs in the second to make it 6-0. He led off with a hit and later scored in the fourth.
Jax Wanner threw four innings of shutout baseball, striking out five.

Kade Sprunger got the last three outs, facing the minimum.
Zaden Baumer had another extra-base hit as part of a 2-for-2 night.
The Starfires will be back at home and back on WZBD Monday night when they host Blackford.
