Illiana Christian got the better of the Bellmont Braves in the second game Saturday and final game of the tournament in Kokomo, winning 6-2.
Iliana starter Grayce Scheeringa allowed just three hits to earn the complete game win for the Vikings. She also had a single at the plate.
Coming off the big win against Kokomo earlier in the day, the Braves were not able to keep the bats going. They managed just a single from catcher Izzy Isch, another base hit from Chevelle Oetting and a double from Carissa Mickley, which drove in two runs in the fourth.
Adisyn Radecki went the whole way for the Braves in the circle. The Braves made three infield errors to compound their cold bats, resulting in three of Radecki’s six runs to be unearned. She walked just one batter and struck out five.
Mya VanderWoude drove in three runs with a single and a double for the Vikings, while Lauren Mish, Emmy Jansma and Lauren Kreykes all had two hits, as well.
