Woodlan pounded out 15 hits and chipped away at the Bellmont Braves, scoring single runs in four different innings on the way to a 4-2 win in Decatur Monday night.
Warriors starter Kaycie Reed allowed a couple of RBI hits by Oni Krueckeberg, but never broke. She gave way to Sophia Martin, who allowed an inherited runner to score, but Martin shut down the Braves thereafter, allowing just three hits in three innings to earn the visitors the victory.

Freshman Adi Radecki was hit for 13 singles and two doubles, but she didn’t walk a batter and still struck out five.
The Warriors simply put too many runners on base to lose.
Senior Liz Bobay had two hits in the loss.
Freshman Hayden DeBolt started in center field and walked twice. She also had a single.
Bellmont will attempt to rebound against another ACAC team, Heritage, on Tuesday night.
