Heritage starter Hadlee Shipp limited the Snider Panthers to just three singles and scored two runs in a convincing 10-0 win in just 4.5 innings Friday for the Patriots.
Playing on their own diamond again, the Patriots scored in all four half innings in which they batted, building a lead for Shipp further and further, while also playing errorless defense.
Shipp drew a walk after Elaine Bickel led off the game with a single and both came around to score in a three-run rally to begin the game.

Bickel and Shipp once again got the rally going in the second as the Patriots scored thrice more, with Shipp picking up a steal in the inning, as well.
Lynneah Whitacre’s double with one out in the bottom of the fourth put the lead to double digits and set up the shortened game for the home team.

Madelyn Taylor had two of the three hits for Snider in the loss. She threw the final two innings and allowed five of the eleven runs.
Heritage 1B had a perfect 3-for-3 night.
The win pushed the Heritage record up to 5-2.
