The Adams County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) has announced the launch of the Founders Room & Lounge ’88.
The two working and meeting spaces in the ACEDC’s new downtown office are designed to serve entrepreneurs, small businesses, remote workers, nonprofits, and community partners across Adams County, said Colton Bickel, President/CEO of the ACEDC.
“As flexible work becomes increasingly vital to modern business, ACEDC is taking a major step to ensure that local professionals have access to the tools, technology, and space needed to succeed – without leaving the county,” Bickel explained.

“The Founders Room & Lounge ’88 will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and economic opportunity.
“This space represents our commitment to strengthening the business ecosystem of Adams County,” Bickel continued. “Local entrepreneurs and remote workers told us they needed a modern, professional place to grow their work. We listened – and built a space designed to support them.”
The new facility features:
– Flexible workstations – Daily drop-in- or reserved space with secure, reliable workstations.
– Professional meeting rooms – Conference rooms equipped with high-speed internet, displays, and virtual meeting technology.
– Large training & event space – A versatile room for workshops, professional development, and community events.

– High-speed fiber Internet – Supporting remote teams, virtual meetings, and digital businesses.
– Business support resources – Networking opportunities, professional programming, and direct access to ACEDC’s economic development services.
The launch of the Founders Room & Lounge ’88 advances ACEDC’s mission to cultivate a strong economic future so Adams County businesses and residents can thrive, Bickel said.
“Providing modern workspace options is essential for rural economic competitiveness,” he continued. “This space positions Adams County as a place where professionals can thrive – whether they’re building a startup, working remotely for a national company, or organizing community projects.”
