Marjorie A. Wable, 77, of Geneva, Indiana, passed away on Monday morning, February 9, 2026, at her residence.
Marjorie was born on July 13, 1948, in Decatur, Indiana, to the late Rollie O. and Vesta M. (Mattax) Wable.

She was a lifelong and faithful member of Nottingham Friends Church. Music played an important role throughout her life, and she was especially talented at playing the organ. From the age of five, Marjorie and her sisters sang together as the Wable Trio, a meaningful part of her childhood and a lifelong source of joy.
Marjorie retired from Berne Furniture after many years of dedicated employment. She loved flowers and took great pleasure in tending them, finding peace and satisfaction in her garden. She also cherished time spent in the Smoky Mountains, which held a special place in her heart.
Survivors include two sisters, Maralyn (Donald) Myers and Maxine (David) Stalker both of Geneva, Indiana; six nieces and nephews, James Stalker, Tim (Erin) Myers, Debbie (John) Fike, John (Monica) Myers, Todd Myers, and Charles Stalker; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis L. Wable and Marion L. Wable.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel, in Berne, Indiana, with John Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Backesto (Springhill) Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
