Seeking their first postseason win since 2003, the Heritage Patriots came up just short against host Mississinewa in the 3A sectional semifinal Friday, falling 48-43 to end a 6-14 season.
After finishing the last two seasons with just one win each, the Patriots were competitive for the first time in years at the sectional level.
