Adams Central and Bishop Luers played into overtime Friday night at Woodlan in the 2A sectional, but it was ultimately the Knights who advanced to the final with the chance to take on #1 Whitko on Saturday night, winning 52-45.
The key possession in the game was perhaps the opening tip of the overtime, which resulted in a basket for Luers after a scramble on the floor. The Knights seized control of the extra period thereafter.
