A balanced scoring attack for the South Adams Starfires was not enough for a conference victory as Woodlan pulled away late for a 60-53 win in Woodburn Thursday night.
Camden Brooks led the Warriors, who were wearing their throwback Harlan Hawks uniforms, with 16 points.

Coach John Baker’s team led at halftime 30-29 as Tytus Lehman scored nine points in the first quarter to keep the visitors in the game early.

Freshman Alex Art drilled three shots from behind the arc in the third quarter to allow the home team to outscore South Adams 19-9 in that period.
The victory was the first regular season win in the ACAC this season for the Warriors.

South Adams will attempt to bounce back against Parkway (OH) on Saturday night at home.
