Gavin Herring scored 20 points and led the South Adams Starfires to their third straight victory, beating non-IHSAA opponent Fort Wayne Hawks 66-47 Monday night.
Now 6-8 on the year, the Stars will put their win streak to the test Thursday night at Woodlan.
Henry Craig got the Stars off to the start they needed, scoring eight points in a 19-point quarter for the home team. They built a 34-24 lead at halftime and never relented.

Herring had a strong second half, knocking down three shots in the third quarter to help the Stars keep the lead at double digits.
Hunter Fields knocked down his last three shots to get to a double-digit-scoring night with ten points.
The Starfires will play four of their final seven games in the regular season in the comfortable setting of the Stardome.
