The Fremont Eagles had just enough to keep a steady distance from host Adams Central in a non-conference victory Saturday night at the Hangar, winning 58-50 against the Jets.
Leading 28-25 at halftime, the visitors had three players in double digits in scoring to provide the offense they needed to claim the victory.

Fremont made 4 of their 6 free throws in the final quarter to stave off an Adams Central comeback.
The free throw line was actually where the Jets excelled, as they were 11 of 12 for the entire game, but it was not enough.
Kate Fisher knocked down four threes for the Jets in the first half, but was held without a bucket in the second half. She and Ava Stafford each had 13 points to lead the home team in scoring.
Jillian Brotherton and Demi Landis each had eleven for the Jets.
Adams Central will be back in action at Blackhawk Christian Tuesday.
