At the 4A Sectional at Bellmont, the host Braves would get by NE8 foe Huntington North in semifinals 25-13, 25-10, 25-23. In the finals, Fort Wayne Wayne stood no match for the hosts, as Bellmont would win all 3 sets by identical 25-10 scores to win their 41st sectional championship, and their first in 4A. Bellmont (20-12) moves on to face #2 Westfield (25-1) for the regional championship Saturday at 7pm at Norwell.

At the 3A Sectional hosted by New Haven…In the semis, Heritage would cruise by Marion 25-6, 25-8, 25-9, while Norwell defeated Mississinewa 25-18, 25-8, 25-17. Norwell would go on to defeat Heritage in the championship 25-18, 25-12, 25-12. Norwell (28-5) will now host #10 Hamilton Heights (22-8) for the regional title Saturday at 4pm.
In the 2A Sectional at South Adams, the host Starfires would avenge a pair of losses to Woodlan in the semifinals, winning 25-21, 25-21, 20-25, 25-22. In the nightcap, South Adams served their way past Whitko 25-9, 25-20, 25-8. The #9 Starfires (25-8) will face Boone Grove (20-9) at Culver Community for the regional title, with first serve at 4pm.

In the 1A sectional at Northfield, Southern Wells would get the win in the semifinals over Daleville 25-19, 25-17, 25-10, sending them to the championship game against the host Norse. The Raiders would come out strong, but would ultimately fall in 5 sets to Northfield 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 20-25, 7-15. Southern Wells’ season ends with a record of 18-15.
