Bellmont’s most experienced singles player and least experienced singles player both shared in victory Saturday, capturing wins in the individual tournament at the beautiful DeKalb High School Tennis Complex.
Larry Knous, the Braves No. 1, beat NorthWood’s Nolan Thomas in the opening round to secure a top-four finish in the top singles division, winning the third set on a super tiebreaker.

Meanwhile, freshman Caleb Coats took his first consolation match against Columbia City’s Brandan Hinen, 8-2, to win his first high school tennis match.

The Braves also got another win in the season’s first two weeks from the No. 1 doubles pair of Kaden Ramsey and Kasey Teeter.
