Bluffton beat both South Adams and Heritage by five points in a highly-competitive ACAC triple meet Tuesday.
Notes & Times:
-Ava Johnson ran the 100 for a season best and finished third for the Patriots.
-Rosalinda Medina (Heritage) ran a season best in the 200 and was fourth.
-Adalynn Watson ran one of the fastest 800s of the year in the area and was second for the Starfires.
-Ava Smith (Heritage) was right behind Watson with a season-best time of 2:41.05.
-The 4×400 team for Heritage ran a season best. The team consisted of DiNestee Williams-White, Rosalinda Medina, Jolena Beckman and Ava Smith.
-McKinsey Amstein (Heritage) tried her hand at the pole vault and became the first Patriot vaulter to clear seven feet this year.
-Kenley Geels of South Adams was second in the discus with a throw of 97 feet, her best of the year.
-One of the most impressive performances of the night belonged to Riley Roy of Heritage, who added 15 feet to her career best to take fifth place for the Patriots.
