The Wes-Del Warriors were no match for South Adams Saturday as Kenzie Neuenschwander continued her hot hitting with a 6 for 8 day across two wins, 12-1 and 10-0, in the first doubleheader of the season for coach O’Dell’s team.
The Stars needed just 4.5 innings to finish the first game, scoring multiple runs in all four innings where they batted.

Addie Baker knocked in four and hit a home run. She threw all five innings and struck out eight.
Neuenschwander, the Starfire first baseman, doubled and had two singles.

In game two, the Starfires jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but were then held scoreless until the bottom of the sixth, when they ended the game via mercy rule on a two-run Neuenschwander double, her third of the day.
Reagan Beitler threw the second game, tossing six scoreless innings and striking out eight.
The Starfires play at Parkway Monday.
