Adams County authorities have charged Hollianne Orme, 34, with two Level 1 felonies in connection to the death of Nicholas Comment, who died of fentanyl toxicity on October 15, 2023. Orme faces counts of dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death and conspiracy to commit dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death.
According to court documents, investigators allege Orme financed the purchase of fentanyl consumed by Comment on the day of his death. Messages retrieved from Comment’s phone and corroborated by a search of Orme’s communications suggest she was involved in the drug transactions. The affidavit details that Comment had purchased fentanyl twice within days of his death, allegedly at Orme’s request, from a third party, Bailey Dailey.

Comment’s death was confirmed as a result of fentanyl toxicity, and physical evidence, including drug paraphernalia, was collected at the scene. Law enforcement traced the chain of events through digital communications, leading to Orme and Dailey.
The case underscores the ongoing dangers of fentanyl use and distribution, which has become a growing public health crisis. Orme was formally charged on November 15, 2024, and awaits further legal proceedings.
