Decatur’s leaf collection will conclude Friday, according to an announcement by Jeremy Gilbert, the city’s operations manager.
The collections began the first of November.
Residents should rake all leaves to curbside for pickup.

CARDBOARD: Gilbert said that during the month of December, city crews will be collecting bound piles of cardboard.
It’s a service the city has been providing the last year or two, Gilbert said, coming, of course, during the gift-giving season.
Residents who recycle are still encouraged to do so, using the proper bins. But any excess may be placed with the bins.
