The Wells County Sheriff’s Office arrested four individuals Wednesday in connection to a robbery investigation that started last week.
The four suspects were identified as 18-year-old Miles Pogue, 18-year-old Marcus Randall, 31-year old Sabbathshe El Y Israel and 38-year-old David Watson.
The four suspects are facing charges including burglary, robbery, criminal confinement, battery and theft. The investigation started Tuesday, Oct. 15, when the Wells County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 10000 block of West County Road 1100 South on reports of an armed robbery.
According to Wells County police the robbery was “targeted and was not random.”
On Wednesday, a series of searches at a home in Poneto, led to the discovery of reported evidence and the arrests of the four suspects.
Indiana State Police, the Bluffton Police Department and the Wells County Probation Department assisted with the investigation.
