Adams Central continued their win streak with a fifth successive win this season, remaining on a collision course with the Bluffton Tigers in Week 8 for the outright ACAC title by beating South Adams on the road, 27-7.
Meanwhile, down in Howard County, the Heritage Patriots made their second long road trip of the season and bounced back from last week’s loss to AC with a 21-7 win over the Tipton Blue Devils, who came into the game 4-1.
Bellmont was shut out again, bringing their streak of not scoring to over nine halves of football with a 51-0 loss to Leo.
