PRESS RELEASE
The Adams County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Matthew 25 was recently awarded a grant for diabetic medications, supplies, and care for Adams County residents.
Matthew 25 is a non-profit organization that is inspired to provide free health care services to uninsured, low-income families and residents of Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. It offers primary and preventive care, treating many chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and depression/anxiety.
Nearly fifty percent of Matthew 25 patients are either pre-diabetic or diabetic. To serve Adams County patients better, Matthew 25 applied for an ACCF grant.
Debbie Laswell, Matthew 25 Development/ Program Director, expressed appreciation for the support from the Foundation.
Audra Snyder, ACCF Board of Directors and grant committee member, added that the ACCF is happy to support Matthew 25 for this type of care.
This grant was made possible by the Daniel Niblick Family Community Enrichment Fund, which was established in 2004.
