While the weather was not conducive to weather in New Haven, that didn’t stop the South Adams Starfires from finding a way to get a win Monday.
The New Haven Bulldogs saw their forecast and called South Adams and said the trip was not worth it, looking at the radar, so the Starfire athletic staff quickly turned south for a possible opponent and found one in Randolph Southern.
Coach Cindy Greer’s girls got a bus and made the trip down 27 to take on the Raiders.
Chloe Summersett overcame a close first set to twin at No. 1 singles and her other two singles partners won easily.
The Stars are set to play Bluffton and Norwell in the coming days.
