It won’t take long to settle the question of who will last longer in this year’s sectional tournament for rivals Adams Central and South Adams.
The two teams will square off on Tuesday of sectional week in the first round, just 12 days after playing on the same field in the regular season.
The field and schedule were announced Monday by athletic director Jason Arnold.
Play will begin Monday, May 20th when Manchester takes on Whitko at 5:30 p.m.
The Jets and Stars will play on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., with the game broadcast on WZBD.
Bishop Luers will await the winner of the opening game and play on Wednesday, while the survivor of the AC/SA matchup will play Thursday against Bluffton.
The championship game will be played on Saturday, May 25th at 11 a.m.
The Starfires are the defending sectional champions and have only lost one sectional game in the last nine years.
