The Starfire girls track team scored the bulk of their points at Friday’s Ansonia Relays in the field events as they finished in seventh place in the competition.
The team will be back in action Tuesday at home against Southern Wells.
Notes & Results:
-The Starfire 4×400 relay team was fourth with a season-best time.
-Liz Gerber and Megan Yoder teamed up to win fifth place in the discus and in the shot.
-Kapri Bixler and Aleena Bierbaum finished tied for second in the team long jump.
