Playing their fifth game in five days, the Adams Central Jets went with Myla Ellenberger and Brinlee Rinkenberger in the circle Thursday against Southern Wells and were rewarded with an 11-1 ACAC victory at home.
Ellenberger started the game and allowed just two hits, keeping the Raiders off the scoreboard as her teammates built a 7-0 lead.
Melina Peralez doubled home two runs in the bottom of the first and doubled again in the fourth for another RBI.
Izzy Isch hit a three-run home run in the fifth to make it 10-1 and Rinkenberger ended the game when she scored on a wild pitch to envoke the ten-run rule.
Rinkenberger got six outs and struck out three in relief of Ellenberger. She walked three but allowed just one run.
The Jets face a much tougher test Tuesday when they go to Woodlan.
